Can you help educate my Dr. on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?

I have a hard time getting my DR. to learn about LDN, can you help me get him to a starting place?

Yes and no. I love speaking with providers and helping them understand the idiosyncrasies behind Low Dose Naltrexone. A lot of times they just Google Naltrexone and all they say is the 50 to 300 milligram doses and that's just not the same. It's a hormetic drug. It works so much differently at tiny doses than it does at big doses so that's just not a thing.

It's just not a thing. I am open to speaking with providers anytime. You can get a hold of me. You can send a message through the Research Trust. You can find me on my ldnresearchtrust.org email which is michelle1@ldnresearchtrust.org. So, you can find me that way.

I'm happy to talk to providers. There is a lot of information on the ldnresearchtrust.org website to help with that. Sometimes talking with a colleague is helpful. These three books are phenomenal and have always been helpful.

We'll do our absolute best to answer any questions that are necessary. I will say the hardest thing for doctors to wrap their head around is that individualized dosing seems very hard. It seems literally it's like they get bogged down in oh my gosh I don't know how to do that or this is going to take up so much time of my staff that we're going to get way behind and that's where working with a very good compounding pharmacy we can do the heavy lifting for them that we can help dial in the right dose for the patient, we can help with follow-up, we can help with dosage form changes if necessary, and we're happy to do that.

There's a lot of compounding pharmacists that will help with all of the above.
