Can Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) cause nausea?

LDN may cause nausea is some, even at low doses.  This side effect is extremely rare and can be dose-dependent.  The higher the LDN dose the more chances of having any nausea.  It will usually abate with time.  Those who have recently taken or are taking opioid analgesics and start LDN too soon may be more likely to suffer nausea.  It is best to be off any opiate for a period of time before starting LDN.
