Can opiate receptors become blocked or stop functioning as well with long-term LDN use?

I think this has come from a Facebook group. There was a comment made somewhere in social media about this. Really, the answer to that is no, you can't damage your opiate receptor system with the dose of Naltrexone we're using. Even at long-term use. What you can do, is you interfere with homeostasis. But this particular group of receptors are very flexible and grow or basically internalize or become more or less sensitive based upon your biological condition. So, the answer to that is no, you can't.
