If there is no response when titrating up to 4 mg on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) from 0.5 mg, should micro-dosing be tried?

If a patient has no response for chronic pain from inflammation, starting at 0.5 mg and increasing weekly or every two weeks up to 4 mg, do they need to drop down and start with micro-dosing even lower?

Probably not. If you had no response at all, whatsoever, taking 0.5 mg, we really don't think taking 0.05 mg is going to make any difference either.

It's probably worth looking at a different therapy altogether. If you Google Ultra low dose naltrexone and very low dose naltrexone, there are some doctors recommending those for this particular condition, I've not really seen enough evidence to make any judgment on that. We would say probably not worth continuing. Try something else.
