Dr. Khan is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine (1992). He completed his certification in Family Medicine in 1994. Dr. Khan worked as an addiction consultant and a surgical assistant and has been active in pain and symptom management for cancer patients since 1994. Through this work he developed an interest in non-toxic cancer treatment. In 2006, Dr. Khan co-founded Medicor Cancer Centres, the first integrated private cancer clinic of its kind in Canada. Since 2007, Dr. Khan has gained international recognition for his work with gentle off-label drugs in cancer treatment, such as low dose naltrexone and dichloroacetate.
From 2015, Dr. Khan’s focus began to shift toward disease prevention and wellness. In 2018, he received the title of “Integrative Medical Doctor” from the Board of Integrative Medicine. In the same year, Dr. Khan began a program of training and certification in medical ozone therapy. Dr. Khan became one of 3 physicians in Canada to have earned fellowship certification from the American Academy of Ozone Therapy. In 2019 Dr. Khan founded Sano Via Wellness, a health and wellness division of his existing practice.
Dr. Khan acts as a medical advisor for the LDN Research Trust and NAVCO pharmaceuticals. Dr. Khan regularly publishes in peer-reviewed medical journals and has been invited to present lectures on ozone therapy, integrative cancer therapy and quality of life in cancer since 2000.
