Are there benefits to COPD with Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?
Benefits of COPD and LDN? Aging lung. That's COPD. So what happens is if you smoke and you live in a polluted city, you have an onset earlier. That's all it is. It's a non-reversible airway disease. You get crusty lung. That's what I call it. It's just a crunchy lung effect. It's inflammatory in nature. You will slow that continued progression. But if you look at what the current standard of care is, is asthma inhalers, right? Like, so we have Ventolin or Subuterol, then we have corticosteroids, and then we have long-acting drugs, which are also anti-inflammatory in nature. And so they're trying to mitigate that long-term damage by controlling inflammation in the aging lung, or COPD. So, I made the recommendation just in June of 2023. Lung disorders is probably one of the untapped discussion markets. And if you can get a hold of me at a later date, or you can go back and watch the video from June of 2023, where I actually go into detail of all the mechanisms. But COPD, yes. Asthma? Yes. Any chronic lung condition? Yes. Cystic fibrosis is an exacerbation of inflammatory cytokines. And so if you're not using LDN in patients with lung disease, you're missing the boat. And if they have lung cancer, get them on LDN yesterday.
