Are there indications for using Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for opiate addiction for weaning off Suboxone?

Wow, that is a great question. So I'm actually doing quite a bit of research on addiction right now and whether it's alcohol overuse syndrome or opiate issues addiction to prescription medications or illicit illegal medications.

There's a lot out there, right? So Suboxone Buprenorphine and Naloxone and Naloxone is kind of a sister to Naltrexone, but it's not exactly the same. So it's similar, but you can use Low Dose Naltrexone along with it. And we usually start in some of those individuals, we're just using a typical naltrexone dose at 50 milligram. We're not necessarily using low dose unless they are using opiates. And then again, we have to be really careful of that.

There is a wonderful documentary out there called "One Little Pill" that may be very helpful for you in taking a look at Low Dose Naltrexone with addiction issues.
