Can Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) be taken by someone with chronic kidney disease?

Generally, when you take medications, because of the way they are excreted, you have to be careful if you have kidney disease, i.e.. Renal failure. We would say that in the vast majority of cases, as long as you are not on dialysis, then LDN is absolutely fine.
The amount that is being excreted by the kidneys is unlikely to cause any detriment to renal function. Now, if you are in end-stage renal function and or needing dialysis, then that's a different question. You need to speak to your specialist before initiating LDN.
