Can Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) block mast cells and stop the release of histamine? There are no studies but my theory is that LDN decreases T-cell activity and T-cells definitely activate mast cells. In addition of antibodies also can activate mast cells and LDN reduces B-cell activity and hence could reduce antibody stimulated mast cell activity.
