Can Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) help with IgA Nephropathy?
IgA nephropathy is an interesting disease. Since it is an autoimmune disease remove gluten from their diet and gut issues fixed and then introduce Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). How you dose LDN may vary depending on how well the kidneys are functioning. You may need to use LDN transdermally if this patient already has renal failure and I would start with a micro dose of LDN like 0.25 mg and then go from there. LDN can be used with this disease. There is not a lot in the medical literature yet. Dosing will be the hard part.
