Can you use Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for dementia? If so, what would you recommend dosing? Yes, you can use LDN for dementia but what I do like to point out here is it's not going to bring the patient back to where they were it might slow the progression from when you start, but it's not going to reverse. I'm not saying, I'm not sure if I'm saying that correctly, but it's not going to bring them back to what they were prior to dementia.  It can slow the dementia process going forward if that makes sense, but yes, I do think it's worth a shot to try it, and normally it is around 4.5.  I would probably start lower with these patients, you know, maybe even like one milligram, and then titrate them up a little bit slower.
