Do I need to stop Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) before getting a steroid shot?
I have hip bursitis and orthopedic doc wants me to give a steroid shot. I'm on LDN 3 .5 milligram daily. Should I stop the LDN for a few days?
No, no reason. With steroids, they are injected into the space to help reduce the inflammation directly in there, and usually they're not too high of a dose where you would need to stop anything.
The LDN is not going to decrease the activity of the steroid. That shouldn't be an issue, especially at 3 .5 milligrams. I think you'd be fine in doing that.
