Do I Need to Taper Off Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?
Someone asked if they needed to taper off Low Dose Naltrexone. I have not seen that. You can just stop use. There's no need to taper and I would say it is safe for all ages. I don't treat pediatric patients but I would be comfortable going down to pre-teens and starting LDN with them. My comfort is only because I don't treat
those younger cases but there's no reason that I wouldn't treat someone less than 12 if it was appropriate and seemed indicated. There's no upper age limit either.
