Does LDN work for short-term pain relief?

Does LDN work for short-term pain relief?

I typically tell patients that LDN is not an analgesic. It's not like Tylenol or Motrin or Percocet, where you kind of pop the pill, so to speak, and then, an hour later your headache has gone. There are some people who do get an analgesic response to it and I think that probably has to do with that anti-inflammatory effect, but it's not universal.

What's more typical is that it takes a while to kind of start putting a lid on the inflammation as well as balancing endorphin rebounds.

So are there cases of patients who get immediate relief with LDN? Yes I've heard of them and I do have some patients but that's very uncommon.
