Does Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) Help with Toenail Fungus?

LDN has made toenail fungus worse. I'm wondering if it's probably due to regulating your immune system somewhat. So I still think you need to treat the toenail fungus.  Initially, with an oral antifungal to really get down in there.  I don't know why you were taking the LDN. So I wouldn't you just do LDN for the toenail fungus because toenail fungus left unchecked can usually cause other issues that can be more significant a little bit later.  Whether you're using a topical product,  whether it's compounded or not, or as Sam said, oral if that works with your liver function, it's very, very important to treat that nail fungus. It's not just an unsightly situation that usually means that there's something else going on as well. But I'd I guess what the three of us were actually saying is that with LDN we have not seen it used directly for the condition of nail fungus. I personally have never compounded LDN to treat nail fungus. It's not an antifungal but I have seen LDN used for other conditions, and we have seen fungal blooms.  That may be what you're referring to. Again that has to do with some underlying issues going on. It's not a one-to-one cause and cause-and-effect reaction and relationship.  I know that a lot of times, what people think of is okay. I started LDN.  This is the last medication I started, so these new side effects that I'm experiencing must be caused by LDN. Really there are usually some other issues going on that we need to discuss so that you can successfully continue using your LDN with also addressing your side effects and other symptoms that may have cropped up.
