Dr. Anthony Turel earned his MD from Cornell University Medical College, and completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio. He is Board-certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. He has decades of teaching experience, including serving on the faculties of Pennsylvania State University, Jefferson Medical College, and Penn State College of Medicine.  He is currently on the attending staff for Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis at the Geisinger Medical Center, and has served in many leadership roles at the Geisinger Medical Center over the past thirty-five years.  He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles and served as the principal investigator for many research studies focusing on treatment for multiple sclerosis, migraine, and other neurological conditions.
