Armin Schwarzbach, PhD, MD - Modern diagnostic tests for chronic Lyme disease and coinfections (2018 Conference) (LDN, low dose naltrexone)

Dr Armin Schwarzbach treats patients world wide for a Variety of autoimmune conditions utilizing LDN. He is amazed at the excellent results and is bewildered that so few doctors are aware of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) and reluctant to prescribe this effective, safe, and inexpensive drug.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that can be spread to humans by infected ticks. It's usually easier to treat if it's diagnosed early. In this presentation Dr Schwarzbach talks about modern tests for Lyme disease and how crucial it is to get the diagnosis right.

Dr Schwarzbach discusses why the tests are insufficient to detect chronic Lyme disease.  He then discusses new methods of testing and talks about the immune system. He mentions Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) as an adjuvant therapy in helping quel the subsequent inflammation related to the infections.

The scientific methods used to detect Lyme Disease are also discussed, such as EliSpot (Interferon Gamma Release Assay), which reflects the T-cellular activity of bacteria and viruses.

The basic diagnostic tests for chronic Lyme disease include SeraSpot, Borrelia Elispot and CD57 + cells.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), seems to work very well as another tool for treating Lyme Disease.
