In this presentation Dr Ingels adopts a scientific approach of explaining Lyme Disease, thus the audience can thoroughly understand why specific approaches and treatments work and others do not.

It is commonly misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all. Lyme disease testing is inadequate and false negative tests are commonplace.

Dr Ingels begins by defining Lyme Disease as a bacterial infection caused by Borrelia burgdorferi transmitted mostly through a tick bite. Symptoms can include a classic bulls-eye rash, headaches and high fever, as well as many others.

According to Dr Ingels’ presentation, Lyme disease is commonly misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all. Lyme disease testing is inadequate and false negative tests are commonplace.
