Dr Nasha Winters - Marrying Mistletoe with LDN 2018 Conference (LDN 2018 Conference) from LDN Research Trust on Vimeo.

In this powerpoint presentation Dr Winters describes how the two therapies; Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) and Mistletoe, work so well together to treat cancers.  Dr Winters discusses the importance of treating the whole body as the emerging understanding of cancer and all chronic illness is that it's a metabolic process.

Low Dose Naltrexone and Mistletoe have a key role in how this is addressed. But basically with metabolic theory, addressing our whole terrain is far more effective than addressing just the tumour alone. The way we manipulate the microenvironment within us is how we halt or slow progression and even reverse disease progression in all conditions, not just cancer.

Having damaged mitochondria makes us more susceptible to metabolic imbalances. Then we become more susceptible to DNA damage and that is what leads to a cancerous process. So Dr Winters tries to help us understand that we need to be paying close attention to these little powerhouses and we need to restore their proper function and efficiency and things like Low Dose Naltrexone and Mistletoe can help restore that rhythm pretty quickly.
