Dr Neel Mehta shares his presentation on Pain at the LDN 2019 Pain Seminar.

In this presentation Dr Mehta explains how Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) can be incredibly effective in reducing pain in many of his autoimmune patients. He identifies inflammation as a common cause of pain.

Dr Mehta also talks about Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and how LDN can be effective in treating patients diagnosed with this disease. He mentions the diseases’ tendency to only affect one limb in the body and how it can usually be triggered following an injury.

It is outlined by Dr Mehta that CRPS is believed to be caused by damage to, or malfunction of, the peripheral and central nervous systems.

This presentation is full of case studies that are valuable in understanding the complexity of how pain is caused in the body. For instance, some patients can report psychic symptoms, though recent scientific studies have served to disprove this.
