Dr Sarah Zielsdorf shares her presentation on Pain at The LDN 2019 Pain Seminar.

In this presentation Dr Zielsdorf asks the audience to consider completely alternative treatments for the treatment of pain. She mentions the importance of excluding other chronic medical conditions, using Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) as an example.

Dr Zielsdorf scientifically explains what Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is, explaining how it is usually triggered after a major trauma in the patient’s life, be that a car accident or the passing of a loved one.

An in depth analysis of how to spot the symptoms of CRPS is also talked about, which include pain on touching, and trophic changes. Trophic changes can range from hair growth, nail growth and skin changes.
