Scott Zashin MD - Treatment of Sjogren's Syndrome with LDN (2017 Conference) (LDN, low dose naltrexone)

In this presentation Dr Scott Zashin discusses the diagnosis of Sjogren’s Syndrome and its symptoms, including a dryness of the eyes or the mouth.

The pathogenesis of Sjogren’s is also discussed. Dr Zashin mentions that normally the immune system produces antibodies to attack and kill invaders such as a virus or bacteria. Yet, in the case of autoimmune conditions such as Sjogren’s, antibodies attack normal tissue.

Different treatment pathways are listed for many of the symptoms caused by Sjogren’s as well as interesting case studies which allows patients to connect with instances which they may not have necessarily related to before.
