How Do You Reduce High Reverse T3 Antibodies and Cortisol?

I have high reverse T3, and both antibodies are high.  I'm assuming thyroglobulin and TPO thyroid peroxidase.  That means that with those high elevated antibodies cortisol is increased.  Cortisol is made on the adrenal glands which sit on top of our kidneys.  The cortisol levels will help to reduce inflammation throughout the entire body.  Cortisol helps to regulate and speed up healing so it's important that intermittently it will elevate so that it can go out and scavenge and really help.  It really helps to support the immune system, support those white blood cells, etc.  When you have high reverse T3 that means cortisol is elevated and until we get those antibodies down and address the adrenal issues it's going to be very difficult to completely control thyroid and also regulate other issues going on in the body.

You can help reduce cortisol with a variety of herbal medications, with prayer, with meditation, yoga, Pilates.  The antibodies need to be addressed with Low Dose Naltrexone in my professional opinion. I think it's going to be difficult to bring those antibodies down other ways.  And then you can support with medications if it's thyroid antibodies or INF and help support thyroid function elsewhere.
