Is It Important to  Find the Root Cause of Alopecia?

I would like to mention the importance of looking for the root cause of alopecia and other autoimmune conditions. For alopecia especially, I've seen a reported connection to mycotoxins.  Alopecia areata is obviously different from Androgen androgenic alopecia or pattern baldness in men and women.  It's certainly different from some of the other forms of alopecia as well.  So they are definitely not autoimmune in nature.
