Is LDN tolerated by most people?

Some patients report that they have decreased symptoms of anxiety, depression and increased mental clarity and energy. Patients with auto-immune conditions sometimes report a remarkable improvement in their symptoms. If they have ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, there may be an improvement in gut health with decreased constipation, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. If they have psoriasis or other skin conditions the skin heals. It all depends upon which organ system is afflicted, in which LDN may help. LDN also can stabilize mast cells, which can result in a decreased histamine load with a decreased allergic-type of symptoms. There are veterinary uses as well. I have a small fluffy white dog who compulsively licked his paws for the first 11 years of his life, to the point that they became brown and unsightly. It was due to an allergic response. I tried everything; special diets and shampoos, homoeopathy, but nothing worked until I gave him LDN. Within a month this bothersome condition cleared right up, and now two years later his paws are snowy white.
