Is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) Commercially Manufactured?

The other one that I hear about quite often is coming from providers in that they want to know why this information isn't just out there and why is it that they are hearing about Low-Dose  Naltrexone from a pharmacist. And well, first of all, it's not commercially manufactured,  right? So you're not going to see this on big commercials, on tv. You're not going to see a lot of literature. You're not going to see a lot of studies being published in or commonly published in a wide variety of journals. However, I also then let them know that at this point where we are in 2022  we have almost 950 articles written on Low Dose Naltrexone, and I can't imagine another drug that has been studied so well in a wide variety of aspects, in a wide variety of disease states. So when I hear,  well, this it, you know, can't be any good because it's just not studied, we just don't have enough information so I'm not going to prescribe it. Well, we have a lot of information. We have not just a case study, most of which is not anecdotal. Most of which has real hardcore science behind it. But we also have a wide variety of scientific study that has been conducted over the years, and I think we could go back to 1985 and thank Dr. Buhari  for his initial work in how he was able to understand initially how things were happening. I  mean, you know that that gentleman had an epiphany
in the middle of the night, which a lot of us get woken up in the middle of the night, but I will say  I don't think I've ever had a medication epiphany in the middle of the night and on how this actually works. So with all that you know we have two really great full-volume LDN books that have been published in the last couple of years. In my understanding, there's a volume three coming out.  Of course, there's so much information out on the research trust website as well, and so that is probably the first place that I let people know if you need more information, especially if you're trying if you're a patient, you have some issues, you want to arm yourself with information so that you can take to your provider and say this is why I want to try this. Then you have that information. A lot of it can be referenced there at ldnresearchtrust.org or grab the books.
