Is Low Dose Naltrexone LDN a controlled substance?

In its low dose form, naltrexone causes a temporary blockade of opiate receptors which has been found to have an anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effect. Although LDN does affect opiate receptors, LDN itself is not an opiate and is not a controlled substance.
