Low Dose Naltrexone for Pain - What Can We Learn From Users?

This presentation explores the user experience of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for chronic pain management. It details reported side effects, with headaches, anxiety, and brain fog being most common, though most symptoms improved. The study highlights LDN's efficacy in conditions like fibromyalgia, while emphasizing the need for further research on optimal dosing and long-term effects.

So in conclusion, this we believe is the first attempt to focus on the user experience of LDN for chronic pain uh conditions. We found that it was generally a female population and that the dosing matched the limited reports in the literature for 4 and a half milligrams once daily at night dosing. It was highly effective for treatment of chronic pain conditions including soft tissue, fibromyalgia and nerve neuropathic pain. But there needs to be further studies on dosing um changes and efficacy in these pain conditions.

We earlier alluded to test questions that would help master the information that we presented today and we'll go through the answers now. The most common side effect reported by LDN users was vivid dreams. Females were the predominant users of LDN in our study and the most common dosing was four and a half milligrams once daily. The most common pain condition treated with LDN was fibromyalgia and they often learned about this from a physician or naturopath uh that helped guide them to start LDN.
