Should any specific blood work be done periodically for safety if you're on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?

Should any specific blood work be done periodically for safety if you're on LDN long term?

Not usually. And the reason is, is because at typical doses of 50 to 300 milligram, we do see some liver function tests that have changed in some patients.

Now, the research that was done, those were alcoholic patients and drug addicts, or former drug addicts, so perhaps they had liver issues to begin with. But at low dose, we don't see that LDN actually changes liver function tests very often.

Other blood work that could be done, you can always take a look at what's going on with the inflammatory markers as well to see if maybe we need to change things up, add medications, do other things.
