Is There Guidance for Stopping/Starting Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) Before/After Surgery?
This a patient who's saying they've been taking three milligrams of LDN successfully for years for Sturgeons Syndrome, and they titrated down and off before knee replacement. Long story short, they're asking how long after they have stopped opioids, they could begin LDN again. They say they've been off opioids for three days. Really that should be absolutely fine. They're asking whether they go straight back to three milligrams. If you've been on three milligrams for years and had no problems, then I would have no problems going straight back to three milligrams.
