Galyn Forster, MS, LPC - Treating Psychiatric Disorders with LDN; Case Studies I (2017 Conference) (LDN, low dose naltrexone)
Galyn Forster begins his presentation with a case study of a Vietnam era veteran with extensive combat experience who has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In this study, the gradual increase of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) in turn led to a gradual improvement in his quality of life. He would snap at his girlfriend less, be able to think clearly and return to regular exercise.
Galyn emphasises that the key to successfully treating mental health issues is to take LDN during waking hours (sleep issues are to be an exception). As well as providing a wealth of information and scientific explanation, Galyn corroborates his knowledge with research on LDN and MH issues linking it to Ulrich Lanius’ and other’s important research.
