What can I take for pain relief while building up Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)?
What can I take for pain relief while building up the LDN? I have rheumatoid arthritis.
If you've had to come off of opiate painkillers in order to titrate up onto your dose of LDN, then two Paracetamol four times a day and anti-inflammatory medications as required.
There's also a medication which is licensed for pain control that may possibly make LDN work better, and that's called Nefopam. You can ask your doctor or prescriber to look at giving that to you. Some places of the world, Nefopam is not available or allowed, but certainly, that's what we would recommend for anybody who gets in touch with us.
