Will Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) help me if I have fatigue, very little pain and should I be worried about side effects?

Will it help me if I have fatigue but very little pain? I noticed lots of people reporting side effects. What are these and when should I be worried?

The vast majority of people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME or long COVID, are talking about fatigue coming from their brain fog. LDN can certainly help with that. In a great number of cases where people do improve very, very quickly, comparatively speaking, for a period of three to four months, and the fatigue is improved. Side effects are very, very minimal.

What you find is for every one person who posts a gigantic post on the internet about having side effects, there are 8000 people who have had no side effects at all or they weren't worth talking about. So don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Keep in touch with your prescribers or your pharmacy if you have any questions about side effects when you start. When you're having the consultation, you can go through that. But generally, you could expect to have a bit of a headache, maybe a little bit of an upset stomach. Flu-like symptoms appear in some people as you increase the dose, but they are generally very self-limiting and will resolve over time.
